GAME OF THE DATE

2008 San Diego Padres Logo

Game 139 2008 - @Dodgers 6 Padres 4

My first ever Padre/Dodger game at Chavez Ravine, turned sour after the Padres scored 3 runs in the 4th inning on a solo home run from Kevin Kouzmanoff and a 2-run double by Josh Bard. But Wade LeBlanc, making his MLB debut,  couldn't hold the lead surrendering back-to-back home runs to Blake DeWitt and Angel Berroa, and later a run scoring single to Casey Blake to fall behind 5-3.

Jonathan Broxton pitched a scoreless 9th for his 12th save.
