Sterling Hitchcock (6-4) was rocky early, and bailed out by Ken Caminiti's 2-run home run in the 4th inning, and Donne Wall and Trevor Hoffman shut it down from there to secure a 6-5 victory.
Down one run in the first, Steve Finley doubles home Quilvio Veras to even the score, and the comes around to score on Mark Sweeney single to briefly take a 2-1 lead.
Again down 2 in the 3rd inning, Wally Joyner doubled home Caminiti to reduce the lead to one, making it 5-4 Marlins.
In the bottom of the fourth, Caminiti launches his 21st home run of the year to take the lead for good.
