Released Willie Davis.

• CF Davis, acquired from the St. Louis Cardinals via trade in October 10, 1975, appeared in 141 games during the 1975 season, hitting .268 with 5 HR and 46 RBI.

1997

Sean Mulligan player rights sold to the Cleveland Indians.

• PH Mulligan, selected in the 4th round of the 1991 draft, made his MLB debut as a Padre on September 1, 1996. Appeared in 2 games during the 1996 season going hitless in his only MLB at-bat.

2014

Traded Matt Lollis, Maxx Tissenbaum, Matt Andriese, Brad Boxberger and Logan Forsythe to the Tampa Bay Rays. Received Jesse Hahn and Alex Torres.

• P Lollis, selected by the Padres in the 15th round of the 2009 draft, appeared only at the minor league levels, reaching AAA Tucson in 2013.
