Released John Donaldson.

• 2B Donaldson, purchased from the Baltimore Orioles in April 1972, appeared only at AAA Hawaii.

Brock Davis sent to the Chicago Cubs.

• CF Davis, acquired from the Milwaukee Brewers in June 1973, appeared only at AAA Hawaii. 

1974

Purchased Jim Shellenback from the Texas Rangers.

• P Shellenback would only appear at AAA Hawaii and released in December 1977.

1976

Released Jim Shellenback.

• P Shellenback would only appear at AAA Hawaii.

2011

Traded Simon Castro and Pedro Hernandez to the Chicago White Sox. Received Carlos Quentin.

• P Castro, signed as a free agent in May 2006, appeared only at the minor league levels, rising to AAA Tucson in 2011.
• P Hernandez, signed as a free agent in November 2006, appeared only at the minor league levels, rising to AAA Tucson in 2011.
• OF Quentin would go on to appear in 218 games over 3 seasons, hitting .251 with 33 HR and 108 RBI. Traded to the Atlanta Braves in April 2015.
