GAME OF THE DATE

NLDS GAME 3 2006 - Cardinals 2 Padres 0

The Cardinals take a commanding 2-0 lead in the 5 game series with a shutout at Petco Park. I attended the game with my brother, making it the only Padre playoff game I have ever attended. In 1998, I was living in New York City, and would have attended IF the Padres were able to win one and return the series to NY...but alas, the sweep was on.

This was the last playoff game at Petco Park until 2020.
