1986
The San Diego Padres sent Tim Pyznarski to the Milwaukee Brewers to complete the trade of June 12th.
- 1B Pyznarski, acquired from the Oakland A's via trade in 1985, made his MLB debut as a Padre on September 14, 1986 and would appear in 15 games during the 1986 season, hitting .238.
1998
The San Diego Padres sent Kevin Burford to the Colorado Rockies to complete the trade of August 31st.
- 1B/OF Burford was selected by the Padres in the 1997 draft. Promoted to class A Clinton at the time of the trade.
2000
Signed Nate Bland as a free agent.
- P Bland would not appear at any level for the Padres and be released in March 2001.
2002
Signed Roger Deago as an amateur free agent.
- P Deago would make his MLB debut as a Padre on May 10, 2003 and make 2 starts during the 2003 season, posting a 0-1 record with a 7.84 ERA. Released in January 2008.
Deivi Cruz granted Free Agency.
- SS/2B Cruz, signed as a free agent in January, appeared in 151 games during the 2002 season, hitting .263 with 7 HR and 47 RBI.
2004
Andy Ashby granted Free Agency.
