Signed Carlos Reyes as a free agent.
- P Reyes re-signs with the Padres and is released in August 2000. Overall, appeared in 99 games over 3 seasons, posting a 5-7 record with a 4.02 ERA including 3 saves.
2002
Signed Brad Clontz as a free agent.
- P Clontz would not appear at any level and be released in March 2002.
2005
Ryan Bukvich selected by the Texas Rangers off waivers.
- P Bukvich, acquired from the Kansas City Royals via trade in November 2004, did not appear at any level.
2009
Signed Cliff Floyd as a free agent.
- LF/1B Floyd would go on to appear in 10 games during the 2009 season, hitting .125 in 16 at bats. Released in October 2009.
