• 3B/2B/C Roberts, selected by the Padres as the first overall pick in the 1972 draft, made his MLB debut as a Padre on June 7, 1972. Purchased by the Toronto Blue Jays in October 1976. Appeared in 509 games over 6 seasons, hitting .240 with 35 HR and 157 RBI.
