1982

The San Diego Padres sent Al Olmsted to the St. Louis Cardinals to complete the trade of December 10, 1981. The St. Louis Cardinals sent Luis DeLeon to the San Diego Padres to complete the trade of December 10, 1981.
  • P Olmsted, acquired from the Cardinals via trade in December 1980, appeared only at AAA Hawaii during the 1981 season.
  • P DeLeon would go on to appear in 185 games over 4 seasons, posting a 17-16 record with a 3.06 ERA. Granted free agency in December 1985.

Signed Robert Fick as a free agent.
