Released Mario Ramirez.

• IF Ramirez, selected from the New York Mets in the 1980 rule 5 draft, appeared in 166 games over 5 seasons, hitting .191 with 4 HR and 28 RBI.

1991

Released Mike Dunne.

• P Dunne, selected from the Seattle Mariners in the 1989 rule 5 draft, appeared in 10 games (6 starts) during the 1990 season, posting a 0-3 record with a 5.65 ERA.

1993

Tom Lampkin player rights sold to the Milwaukee Brewers.

• C Lampkin, acquired from the Cleveland Indians via trade in July 1990, and would later return via trade from Seattle in 2001, appeared in 177 games over 4 seasons, hitting .215 with 11 HR and 44 RBI.

2003

Selected Lou Merloni off waivers from the Boston Red Sox.

• IF Merloni would go on to appear in 65 games during the 2003 season, hitting .272 with 1 HR and 17 RBI. Traded to the Boston Red Sox in August.

2009

Purchased Frankie De La Cruz from the Florida Marlins.

• P De La Cruz would go on to appear in 3 games during the 2009 season, posting no record with a 5.40 ERA. Released in December.

Released Andrew Albers.

Purchased Adam Moore from the Kansas City Royals.

• C Moore would go on to appear in 9 games during the 2014 season, hitting .200 with 1 RBI. Granted free agency in November.

Patrick Schuster selected by the Kansas City Royals off waivers.

• P Schuster, acquired from the Houston Astros via trade in December 2013, appeared only in spring training.

Released Chris Rearick.
