1977

Ken Reynolds player rights sold to the Toronto Blue Jays.

• P Reynolds, acquired from the St. Louis Cardinals via trade in April 1976, appeared in 19 games (2 starts) during the 1976 season, posting a 0-3 record with a 6.40 ERA including 1 save.

1996

Traded Raul Casanova, Richie Lewis and Melvin Nieves to the Detroit Tigers. Received Cade Gaspar, Sean Bergman and Todd Steverson.

• C Casanova, acquired from the New York Mets via trade in December 1992, appeared only at the minor league levels, rising to AA Memphis in 1995.
• P Lewis, signed as a free agent in January, appeared only at spring training.
• RF Nieves, acquired from the Atlanta Braves via trade in July 1993, appeared in 127 games over 3 seasons, hitting .207 with 17 HR and 45 RBI.
• P Gaspar would go on to appear at A level Rancho Cucamonga during the 1996 season. Released in October.
• P Bergman would go on to appear in 85 games (23 starts) over 2 seasons, posting a 8-12 record with a 5.17 ERA. Traded to the Houston Astros in January 1998.
• OF Steverson would go on to appear in 1 game during the 1996 season, striking out in his only plate appearance as a pinch hitter. Released in November.

1997

Released Bryan Eversgerd.

• P Eversgerd, signed as a free agent in January, appeared only at spring training.

Traded Jody Reed to the Detroit Tigers. Received Mike Darr and Matt Skrmetta.

• 2B/SS Reed, signed as a free agent in April 1995, appeared in 277 games over 2 seasons, hitting .250 with 6 HR and 89 RBI.
• OF Darr would go on to make his MLB debut as a Padre on May 23, 1999. Appeared in 188 games over 3 seasons, hitting .273 with 5 HR and 67 RBI. Killed in a car accident on February 15, 2002.
• P Skrmetta would go on to appear only at the minor league levels, rising to AAA Las Vegas in 1999.  Granted free agency in October 1999.

2005

Traded Blaine Neal to the Boston Red Sox. Received Adam Hyzdu.

• P Neal, acquired from the Florida Marlins via trade in April 2004, appeared in 40 games during the 2004 season, posting a 1-1 record with a 4.07 ERA.
• OF Hyzdu would go on to appear in 17 games during the 2005 season, hitting .150 with 4 RBI. Traded to the Boston Red Sox in July.

2008

Released Jeff DaVanon.

• OF DaVanon, signed as a free agent in December 2007, appeared only in spring training.
