• P Durocher, would appear only at the minor league levels in 2000, and be granted free agency after the season.

Traded Andy Ashby to the Philadelphia Phillies. Received Adam Eaton, Carlton Loewer and Steve Montgomery.

• P Ashby, acquired from the Colorado Rockies via trade in July 1993, made 185 starts over 7 seasons, posting a 70-62 record with a 3.59 ERA. Selected to the 1998 & 1999 All-Star team.
